No, not a wedding dress. A ballgown.
I bought this dress for my ballroom competitions. I hadn't been planning on buying it, but one of the girls brought it to practice intending to sell it and it fit me best...
I brought it home to two squealing roommates: "You bought THE DRESS?"
The Dress?
I was unaware of the history of The Dress.
It turns out it had belonged to the president of the team 3 years ago. She was the first owner of The Dress, and she had hand-stoned it, which took weeks. Then The Dress was passed down to the girl I bought it from. This girl took The Dress to a competition in New York, where she didn't just win, she swept.
The team has their eyes on The Dress, and when I bought it, I bought their expectations, too.
