Serious

My parents are taking my relationship seriously. Seeing as they're Asian, this is weird for me. Before they've always let me do my own thing and haven't gotten involved in my relationships or asked me how it's going (much). It makes me feel old, like I'm at the age to be engaged at any moment. 

And I have to admit I'm scared. I've been in two long term relationships before, both around two years long. Am I still afraid of commitment? This relationship doesn't feel at all like the other two. I'm not taking anything for granted or planning far into the future, which is a first for me. 

I'm afraid to be disappointed.
