The last day

Loud, Obnoxious, Colorful. Sensory information slams into the back of my eyeballs and my temples. It's the last day of school and I have the worst headache I've had in a long time. Excitement bouncing off me and the walls of this building, at least it'll be over soon. Everyone is in bright red, neon greens blues and pinks, old fashioned clothes, spandex, hats, sunglasses, way too much makeup, necklaces. Everyone wants a picture, and the poor random guy we just met in the hall had to take pictures on 5 cameras. There are knee-high socks in rainbow stripes and fuzzy slippers, hair extensions, fishnet stockings, many, many jerseys.

On the other hand, I'm wearing a ribboned black shirt and formal white pants. Only my feet show any color at all, rainbow wedges (which I had to bike in -.-) and blue and green socks. This is impressive for me, I think. People are very disappointed with my lack of dressing up, whereas I think I did dress up. They are so...loud.

Ms. Flanigan had a long white ribbon from one of her gifts, and Sarah braided it into my hair. Now I'm slightly more crazy, but since it fits into my theme of black and white, it's okay. :)

It's still the last day, and wheras yesterday was sad, today is exciting. Paigie and I are going to lunch and a movie after we get our yearbooks today.
