I talked to my cousin today for the first time in months. I don't think I've heard his voice in a year or more. Since my extended family lives in China, I only see them every few years or so.
When I moved to America, Chinese was the only language I know. Now, my English is better. I've known that I've been losing my literacy in Chinese for a long time. I never get to practice it. But this is the first time I've been aware that I've been losing my speaking. I speak Chinglish at home, and I've always thought that was enough practice, but it's not. I never get to use professional or scientific terms.
I need more practice. -.-
