At my house, I do most of the gift-wrapping, card making and writing. I try to put something special into each card and each gift. Each year, "Santa" will come to me and ask me to wrap and write tags for each present, and then hide the presents until Christmas Eve rolls around. But since the presents are for my family, how do I convince my sisters that they are from "Santa," and not from one of us?
Over the years, I collect gift wrap, ribbons, gift bags, and those flashy flowers from gifts given to me or to others in my family, and I save them all. Then, when Christmas comes, I take out the old wrapping paper and I wrap the gifts from "Santa" in them, counting on my sisters not to recognize paper and ribbons from years ago or from gifts from other people. This way, "Santa" gifts are always mysterious. There are also years where "Santa" will bring his own wrapping paper to the Elves Workshop *coughmyroomcough* and then all presents from him will be wrapped in that paper.
But "Santa's Elf" may be graduating soon. Who will get the post, then?
