1. It's Saturday morning. We were all up by 8. On Friday night, we all turned in by 10:30.
2. We speak Chinglish at home, as in "Lisa! 你怎么还没有clean你的room呢？"
3. Seven of us crowd around a little table off the kitchen for dinner.
4. We watch more CCTV (Chinese Central Television) than anything else. Lisa and I can sing the Newscast music by heart.
5. We come together to do things like raking leaves.
6. When I DDR in the evening, my parents and grandparents join in.
7. When I greeted my grandparents in Russian one morning over the summer, they spoke Russian back. o.o
8. As a teenager, I actually agree with most of the things my parents say.
9. We practice a rare form of Generational Equality. Rare especially in Asian families.
10. I know my parents will back me in anything I choose to become.
