Lost in memories, some people cry. I smile.
Lost in longing, some people cry. I smile.

I smile at what was, what is, and what could be. I smile because the things that stick to me are the happy things. I laugh; my eyes sparkle. Every memory is a gift, a lesson. Every moment has its challenges, its beauty. The future is full of potential which I will make the best of.

And today, if I cry, I will smile through my tears. Because no matter what, there are people who love me, and I am never alone.
